The Terrazas del Valle project functions as a response to a newly developing concept of territorial insertion of real estate through the design of public spaces and green areas in the commune of Lo Barnechea. The project consists of a public green area, along with a private green area, which specifically comprises an Outdoor Public Park and Green Areas for UNNF, Central Park, gardens, roads, parks, and buildings. This project proposes a new structuring concept: the re-interpretation of the environmental conditions and existing landscapes from a contemporary perspective, to convert the interior space for vegetation since it acts as an attractive and environmentally beneficial asset.
acts as an attractive and environmentally beneficial asset.
The project utilizes a vegetable palette and existing material from the pre-cordilleran area, which intensifies and promotes the integration of plant associations to generate varying experiences within distinct green spaces. We are not only activating green space for visual appeal, but we are also providing recreational activities and the integration of sports, play, and walking. The vegetation used in this design establishes a rustic multi-functional landscape fit for various environmental, social, and spatial activities.
